In the linear economy, raw natural resources are taken, transformed into products and get disposed of. On the opposite, a circular economy model aims to close the gap between the production and the natural cycles of ecosystems – on which humans ultimately depend upon.
Since the care for the environment is a core value in our culture, the circular economy (CE) model that offers us a new chance of innovation and integration between natural ecosystems and our business and waste management is taken into strong consideration by our teams.
This will mean, on one hand, eliminating waste. This is done by composting biodegradable waste or, if it is a transformed and non-biodegradable waste, by reusing, remanufacturing and finally recycling it. On the other hand, it also means cutting off the use of chemical substances (a way to help regenerating natural systems) and placing a bet on renewable energy.
We also keep these concepts in mind when defining new products and when organizing our processes for a new production.
This is the way we strive to contribute to a more sustainable future.
