At DigiProces we are convinced of the importance of everyone’s participation to promote sustainability and that is why we are determined to take all the measures within our reach for global prosperity. In this sense, we implement different steps at economic, social and environmental level, always keeping people, the planet and our welfare in mind.
How we take action
Promote local employment
DigiProces strategy to reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to the environment sustainability also includes more social type actions, such as our commitment to hiring local professionals. The growth of our team with the incorporation of people from our closest surroundings contributes to the economic development of the region, thus also strengthening the local community.
At DigiProces we believe in near talent, whose recruitment is a great value for our company. We collaborate with government institutions and entities close by to optimize candidates search and hiring within our area, also promoting inclusive work programs and those for young people in an equal opportunities environment where employees can develop their full potential.
Activating employment and boosting the economy in our territory of influence are part of the green circle of our business activity. We reduce transfers and promote local stability and social cohesion together with a higher balance with personal welfare and, ultimately, a better quality of life.
Renewable energy
With our commitment to sustainability and the environment intensely alive, at DigiProces we continue to develop and implement measures to reduce our carbon footprint. One of the most direct steps is our bet on the use of renewable energies in our operational activity, a strategy that has required a significant economic investment, but which has a substantial direct impact on the environment.
At DigiProces we began to use renewable energy as an efficient power source long time ago, and our photovoltaic installation has been running at full capacity for more than a year now, generating a high percentage of clean energy for our premises. In this way, we are not only able to save money in our electricity bill, but we also take another step forward in protecting our environment.
In addition to this internal system of generating green energy, we have energy efficient equipment, facilities and processes. We keep ourselves updated and renew our resources regularly to always guarantee the lowest possible consumption. Likewise, we do not stop looking for new opportunities to continue integrating more measures and solutions to keep reducing our emissions and making our energy use more sustainable and responsible.
Supply chain management
Sustainable practices are also applicable to management and development of the entire supply chain. Integrating ethical and responsible work processes in our operations and having suppliers and collaborators that also include them in their strategies is part of a committed, competitive and successful business model.
At DigiProces we promote transparency in our entire supply chain and sustainable initiatives are applied from the raw materials provision to final logistics, also including internal management of parts and components, return systems and recycling processes.
Our purchasing team carefully selects suppliers that respond to our needs and that are local. Reducing the transport routes of materials also has a positive impact on the environment, optimizes times and helps boost local communities.
Sustainability is also present in our warehouse activity. We have infrastructures and equipment with low energy consumption, automated processes, more efficient organization and packagings, and minimal waste generation. In addition, the supply chain department works to avoid possible shortages or overstocks that mean extra costs at all levels.
Employee engagement
At DigiProces we increasingly promote sustainable practices in our business activity, but we also believe that participation and motivation of all our team members individually is truly decisive. We are lucky to have employees with a lot of creativity and initiative in this respect, which also helps us to expand and strengthen our green consciousness.
Our daily actions begin with work based on the 5S methodology, eliminating the unnecessary and generating as little waste as possible. The culture of optimal usage and recycling is also well established in all areas and we’re starting to launch interesting eco-friendly mobility and car sharing actions for transfers to our offices.
Environmental responsibility is part of the DigiProces corporate culture. It belongs to a purpose continous over time that is in a constant improvement process and that requires everyone’s commitment to make it successful. Our goal is to create a positive work environment in which we educate and empower all employees to find and implement sustainable solutions in the short term and for the years to come.

Industry, innovation and infrastructure
One of the goals of DigiProces sustainability strategy is the one focused on Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure. Aware of the impact of the electronic manufacturing industry on the environment, we implement measures to reduce the carbon footprint as much as possible in this regard.
We have implemented and continue to expand our renewable energy systems and more processes, spaces and equipment that optimize energy consumption while generating the minimum possible waste. We conveniently refurbish our facilities so that they remain resilient, efficient and accessible, and so we do with our vehicles and logistics structure.
At R&D level, our engineering teams include the most appropriate and fair systems and materials in the design and manufacturing process. Our Technology Center performs a research and analysis work that achieves maximum functionality and reliability without forgetting the sustainability of the projects.
On the other hand, we are proud that our industrial activity also impacts on the growth of our local community. Moreover, the modernization of our infrastructures and procedures implies that our partners and cooperative companies also advance in this direction, working on the efficiency of resources and the adoption of cleaner practices and technologies.
With these and the rest of our actions framed in our commitment to the environment, we prove our solid participation in the transformation of the industry towards a more sustainable model.
