Because quality control is a top priority for us, we have a proven system in place to ensure high quality manufacturing, both efficiently and economically.
In our product feasibility meetings, the QA team will analyze the risks that could affect the project, either coming from the product design or from the process conceived. Their mission will be to put in place a strategy to mitigate all of them.
During the NPI phase their role is critical. The first article inspection in the first round, where the produced part and the associated production processes will be inspected, need to make sure everything is just fine. For the subsequent rounds, the focus will be to improve the production yield.
Easy availability of process data is key for the job in our shop floor. Our MES software makes sure that every manufactured part has completed each process properly before moving to the next one. This way we make sure we regulate processes, control the quality to prevent errors and build products that are safe and reliable.
Process flows, as well as the associated work instructions for each manufactured part, are no longer based on many different tools along the shop floor. All of it is standardized into a single tool which makes our overall operations much more efficient.
Operators in the shop floor have always the correct work instruction revision, as they come directly from the Digital Manufacturing Engineering process, which is paperless, eliminating 100% of personalized paper work.
Operators can then close the loop by adding improvements to the process also digitally.
Checking for adherence to IPC inspection guidelines is a major part of quality assurance within DigiProces, avoiding defective products to pass through the assembly line to the end customer.
