Industrial activity has a huge impact on climate issues and for DigiProces, as a company committed to environment and sustainability, reducing our carbon footprint becomes a duty that we perform responsibly. With this ambition in mind, we’ve designed a business plan contributing to a global environmental transformation that moves on to achieve a low carbon society.
At DigiProces we take special care in managing our operations, putting into practice policies and actions that avoid unnecessary use and spending and always go for the most renewable consumption systems possible. These measures include the following:
- Energy use reduction. We obtain as much energy as possible from renewable sources such as our solar panels installation, implement highly energy-efficient lighting and the automatic disconnection of equipment and keep track of consumption data to apply saving measures.
- Waste cut. We follow a recycling process for the waste generated in our premises and constantly perform efficiency improvements in all production processes to reduce polluting emissions.
- Sustainable supply. We bet on local or proximity suppliers to acquire raw materials, as well as to contract services and other purchases, ensuring reduced transport.
- Transport optimization. We choose the use of hybrid and low consumption vehicles and also pay special attention to reduce and improve our delivery routes.
- More sustainable financing. We promote investments in green projects and renewable technologies.
